Big Time Gaming
announced the release of MONOPOLY Money, a new Megaways™ slot that centers on the iconic Mr. Monopoly. The game debuted on 14 October 2026 from the company’s Sydney studio and follows the earlier-year title MONOPOLY Rush Hour.

Game layout and core mechanic

The slot runs on six Megaways™ reels, offering up to 117,649 ways to win. Most of the action occurs in the Hold and Spin feature, which is triggered when six or more Card symbols appear anywhere on the reels. Each card then acts as an individual reel.
Mr. Monopoly begins each Hold and Spin round with three Money Bags. He can collect Title Deed symbols whose value does not exceed his current worth, adding them to his total. Spins that fail to produce a new Card cost him one Money Bag, while each collected Card restores one, up to a maximum of three.

Bonus symbols and payout opportunities

Title Deed, Community Chest and Chance Cards serve as Bonus Symbols. Community Chest Cards award a Bonus Prize of up to 2,500 × stake when the round ends. Chance Cards are held until the conclusion of the feature and then become either a Credit Prize—added to Mr. Monopoly’s value—or a Restart, which clears the screen but preserves his accumulated value.
  • Collecting Title Deeds in all eight colours triggers the MONOPOLY Bonus, also paying up to 2,500 × stake.
  • Three or more Scatter symbols award 12 Free Spins, with an additional two spins for each extra Scatter.
  • During Free Spins, Mr. Monopoly starts with a random value of up to 15 × stake; each Title Deed collected raises the Megaways™ Win Multiplier by one, with no upper limit.
  • Five or more Cards simultaneously launch a mid-round Hold and Spin, while three or more Scatters add four extra Free Spins.

Betting options, Power Play and RTP

BTG’s Power Play feature costs 8 × stake, guarantees at least 10,000 Megaways™ on every spin and increases the frequency of Max Megaways™, Hold and Spin and Free Spins. Players can also use the Bonus Buy option to purchase Hold and Spin for 60 × stake or 12 Free Spins for 90 × stake. The slot’s theoretical return to player (RTP) can reach 96.58 %.
Founder and CEO Nik Robinson explained that the game was built around Mr. Monopoly’s progression, noting that the Hold and Spin mechanic creates tension as the character moves toward higher-value properties. He added that the Chance and Community Chest Cards were designed to echo familiar board-game actions, with the Restart function acting like a “pass Go” moment and the Free Spins multiplier continuing to climb without limit.
